Austin, TX – Card grading services company Diamond Elite Cards (DEC) recently completed its acquisition of competitor Cade’s Bulk Grading (CBG) in a deal announced by Diamond CEO, Brian Gomez.

“Our relationship with CBG started with us doing business together and as we became more familiar it was pretty obvious that number one, we shared a lot of the same values such as a zero bs approach to what we do and a high level of integrity and number two, CBG brought some things that we really needed to grow the Diamond Elite Cards brand”, Brian said.

The deal to acquire Cade’s Bulk Grading, one of the largest BGS submission companies with decades of experience and a stellar reputation, includes CBG owner Josh Cade obtaining significant equity interest in Diamond Elite Cards, LLC and him continuing his role at CBG with DEC.

Both Diamond Elite Cards and Cade’s Bulk Grading provide services that help sports card collectors with getting their cards graded by the major grading companies such as PSA, BGS and CSG, a task that can be complex and very expensive depending on the value of your card collection. Diamond Elite Cards will now look to leverage the relationships and services of both companies to deliver the most value, convenience and transparency to the card collecting community.

“We see this deal as a win for both sides and more importantly, a win for the hobby. Transparency, integrity and professionalism is something that the hobby needs and we are committed to delivering that. We really connected with Josh and his team in that regard. We see this deal as a big step in the overall direction for the vision we all have which is to be the leader in grading and ebay consignment for sports cards”, DEC Chief Operating Officer Blake Bowman said.

Former Cade’s Bulk Grading CEO, Josh Cade, is excited about the acquisition as well; “This is a great fit. I started my business 14 years ago because I loved the hobby and it has grown into something I’m really proud of. These guys share a lot of my values and they bring some business, technology and marketing experience to the table that I need. I bring relationships and the industry experience they need. The sky’s the limit for us in the hobby which we all think is going to get bigger and bigger.”
